“Reading is Magical!” Let reading take you to magical places during the 14th annual Children’s Book Festival at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks. PBS Western Reserve, the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County, Mill Creek MetroParks and Altrusa Club of Youngstown present an event that brings together authors, illustrators, book characters, storytellers and hands-on activities for children to promote literacy in the Mahoning Valley. Bring your camera and come to the PBS Western Reserve booth for a meet-and-greet with Daniel Tiger from DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD! Sign language interpreting available. Due to limited space, strollers are not permitted in the Davis Center during the event. Stroller parking available.

From Cleveland/Akron
Ohio Turnpike to exit 218; travel east on I-80 to Youngstown; follow I-680 to Belle Vista Ave. (exit 3B); travel south to Mahoning Ave.; turn left and continue to McKinley Ave.; turn right and follow to Gardens.

From Pittsburgh
Ohio Turnpike to exit 234; I-680 north to Youngstown; exit Glenwood/Mahoning Ave.; at stop sign turn right onto Edwards St; at traffic light turn left onto Mahoning Ave.; travel 1/2 mile to McKinley Ave.; turn left and follow to Gardens.
