Ways to Give
There are many ways that you can make
a charitable enduring contribution to Western Reserve Public Media:
Bequests
You may designate a specific asset or amount of your estate to
go to Western Reserve Public Media. You may direct a percentage
of your
estate or any residual amount that is left once all other costs
and bequests have been honored.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Life insurance gifts allow you a future tax deduction, do not impact
your immediate resources and ensure support for the station in
the form of a legacy gift.
Retirement Plans
Name Western Reserve Public Media as the beneficiary of
your 401K, pension or other retirement plan.
Securities
When you make a gift of securities, you will be able to avoid
capital gains taxes while taking a tax deduction and greatly
benefitting
the station. Gifts of securities are easy to make by working
with your financial advisor and our station.
Gifts of Real Property
Donating marketable real estate such as a personal residence
or vacation home, commercial property or even vacant land can
be a
creative way
to make a significant gift to Western Reserve Public Media and
at the same time receive important tax benefits and even income.
Please let us know your plans
By informing Western Reserve Public
Media of your gift, you help us prepare for the future and, equally
important, you also give
us the chance to thank you for your generous gift. To notify
us of your interest, or for more information, contact Trina Cutter at 1-800-554-4549 or by e-mail at

The most common planned gift is through a bequest
through your will which everyone can make. You can include a bequest
to Western Reserve
Public Media for a specific percentage or dollar amount of your
estate. Suggested language for a bequest is as follows:
Specific
Bequest
“I bequeath a ______% or the sum of $______ to Northeastern Educational
Television of Ohio, Inc., 1750 Campus Center Road, PO Box
5191, Kent, OH 44240, to be used as its governing body shall determine.”
Residential
Bequest
“I devise and bequeath all or ______% of the rest, residue and remainder
of my estate, of whatsoever nature and kind and wheresoever
situate, to Northeastern Educational Television of Ohio, Inc., 1750 Campus
Center Road, PO Box 5191, Kent, OH 44240, to be used as its
governing body shall determine.”
