Led by our Google Certified educators, our Ready, Set, GOogle has something for everyone, whether you are a total beginner, or an advanced user. All classes are geared with best practices for classroom integration. Questionnaires are sent out to registrants prior to the class to ensure that the workshop is tailored to attendees needs.

Unless otherwise noted, workshops are full day 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Some workshops are offered multiple times. Choose the date that works best for you.

Google Certification Academy
Have you been using Google Drive, Calendar, Classroom, or Chromebooks with your students? Do you believe that technology can enhance learning? Then the Google Certification Academy is for you! Learn advanced teaching strategies, practical time-saving tips, and connect with a dynamic community of technology using teachers.

The Google Certification Academy is an intermediate/advanced learning opportunity. Participants should be current Google Apps users comfortable with Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, and Sites. Experience with Chromebooks is helpful, but not required. Teachers, technology integration specialists, technology directors, and administrators can all benefit from the training provided at the GCA.

Google Admin BootCamp
The Google Admin Bootcamp is specifically designed for district IT directors and administrators who want a better understanding of the management tools and feature of G Suite for Education and Chromebooks. This event will help you take the next step to lead your organization in their G Suite implementation.

The Admin bootcamp is for new and experienced system administrators, IT Directors and school administrators. This event will be helpful for individuals just getting started as well as those who are familiar with G Suite but would like to explore new features and best practices to ensure their users, data, and devices are being used to their fullest potential.

Google Classroom Gets Ready for School
Get your Google classroom ready for the new school year! You will get a hands on overview of all the features of Google classroom. We will help you with your basic classroom set up and integrate features so you are ready to go when your students return. Audience: All teachers all subject areas, any educator using Google Classroom. Experience: Familiarity with using Google in the school setting. Understanding of the basic features of Google Docs.

Set your sights on creating a new Google Site!
Set your sights on creating your new class webpage with the new Google Sites. During this hand on 3 hour workshop we will get you up to date on the new Google sites. Spend time creating your new Google website with instructor support. Be ready for back to school with a class website ready to share with families. Audience: All teachers,  all subject areas, administrators. Experience: No previous experience necessary.

Create a Webquest with Google Docs!
Join us during this hands on 3 hours workshop where you will learn about Webquests. Webquests are a great way to allow for independent and differentiated learning. Using Google docs, we will create a "Hyperdoc" (we will show you how!) that will result in a webquest for your students to use. Audience: All teachers, all subject areas. Experience: Familiarity with basic features of word processing.
